BREXIT: ASK THE EXPERTS Professor Michael Dougan & Colleagues

Professor Michael Dougan and his colleagues from the University of Liverpool will be taking part in a ‘Question Time’ style panel to expose the truth about the legal consequences of the UK’s decision to leave the European Union.
Michael was acclaimed as the internet star of the June 2016 referendum when his lecture on the ‘industrial-scale dishonesty’ of the Leave campaign attracted 7 million hits on Facebook and YouTube. Since then he has attracted considerable notice for his clear and measured analysis of the current post-referendum situation from his perspective as a leading EU lawyer.
Michael is Professor of European Law and Jean Monnet Chair in European Union Law at the University of Liverpool. He specialises in EU Law, particularly EU constitutional law, the Single Market and EU welfare law. He has published widely, provided written evidence to government enquiries, appeared as an expert witness to parliamentary committees and advised government departments on European affairs.
On the panel with Professor Dougan will be:

Dr Greg Messenger, Senior Lecturer in International Trade Law: law of the WTO, international trade law
Dr Steph Reynolds, Senior Lecturer in EU Law: EU constitutional law, human rights, free movement of persons
The formal event will be followed by light refreshments and an opportunity to chat informally with the panelists and other members of the audience.
Myton School is on the south side of Warwick, on Myton Road which is off the main Banbury Road into Warwick. It is on the same side of the road and just a few hundred metres past Warwick School. For those travelling by car there is ample free parking.
